Geotechnical Engineering Services

  • Our team can perform subsurface investigations and analyze subsurface conditions to provide foundation recommendations for proposed construction.

  • Our team can perform subsurface investigations in support of proposed construction projects from foundation design to stormwater management systems.

  • When excavating in urban environments, below the groundwater table or in greater depth than about 10 feet, a support of excavation system is generally required. Our team can design and provide construction drawings for underpins, soldier pile and lagging walls, secant pile walls, slurry walls, soil nail wall, and sheet pile walls.

  • Our team can perform field investigations and testing for support of stormwater management systems design. Testing is performed per South Florida’s Stormwater Management Best Practices Manual and the Environmental Resource Permit Information Manual.

Construction Inspection and Management

  • Our team can assist with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) tasks for construction projects— from cradle-to-grave. Our staff has experience in EAA Reservoir projects and Department of Defense projects and holds certifications requires for these scopes, such as OSHA and USACE-CQM.

  • Our team has previous hands-on experience with materials testing including: nuclear soil density test, geotechnical laboratory testing, and concrete testing.

  • Our team has previous experience with construction inspection including subgrade inspection, reinforcing steel (rebar), structural steel, and utility inspections.

  • Our team can assist public entities and private clients with reviewal of construction submittals, preparation of submittals, review of geotechnical data and documentation, and construction management.
